Yet, modern grooming has largely forgotten this example. We frequently experience a culture of neglect—unkempt appearances, poor grooming, and unpleasant odours, especially within shared spaces of worship.
To us, caring for our appearance is not an act of vanity or ego; it is an expression of Allah’s beauty, a fulfillment of the stewardship entrusted to us, and a direct act of love for the Messenger ﷺ.
Our formulation journey began simply. Desiring to follow the direct instruction of the Prophet ﷺ to use olive oil because it comes from a “blessed tree,” our founder originally kept a bottle of extra-virgin cooking oil in his bathroom to apply after showers.
But the reality of raw kitchen oil quickly set in: it was thick, heavy, greasy, and prone to going rancid.
Mainstream alternatives offered no solution. The skincare industry was flooded with two extremes: cheap, water-diluted formulas packed with petroleum derivatives, or hyper-expensive products driven entirely by clever marketing margins.
